Planck Speed: the Missing Speed of Physics? Absolute Still Without Breaking Lorentz Symmetry!

چکیده

Today, the speed of light is one cornerstones modern physics. It maximum limit for transferring information, and plays a very central role in relativity theory. also seems to be same as assumed measured gravity (gravitons and/or gravitational waves). We are not questioning light, we indeed think it that identical ofgravity, but photons lead us second limit, which will term Planck speed. Photon-photon collisions part physics, what discussed two during moment photon-photon collision. How can move collision? Or, assumea photon reflected by mirror; do so must collide with building blocks mirror, yet how moving collision point? Also, physics assumes mass created suggest this particle only lasts time, when collide, claim they stand still direct observer. That is, thatthe always zero, zero-velocity last time. time means break principle or Lorenz symmetry, at least call weak Lorentz symmetry. show missing Plank point between photons, fully line predictions other researchers’ findings relation possible mass. This new view solve mass-gap, able unify quantum mechanics. again mass, because long-outstanding questions whether have not. In addition, showhow find, simple way directly from observations, lp/tp= cg = c, upper (the gravity) independent any knowledge G ~ c.

Planck Scale Symmetry Breaking and Majoron Physics

Majoron models provide neutrino masses via the spontaneous breaking of a global U(1) symmetry. However, it may be argued that all global symmetries will be explicitly violated by gravita-tional effects. We show that it is possible to preserve most of the usual features of majoron models by invoking U(1) B−L to be a gauge symmetry and adding a second singlet scalar field. The majoron gets a smal...

Ultra-large distance modification of gravity from Lorentz symmetry breaking at the Planck scale

We present an extension of the Randall–Sundrum model in which, due to spontaneous Lorentz symmetry breaking, graviton mixes with bulk vector fields and becomes quasilocalized. The masses of KK modes comprising the four-dimensional graviton are naturally exponentially small. This allows to push the Lorentz breaking scale to as high as a few tenth of the Planck mass. The model does not contain gh...

Gravity from Breaking of Local Lorentz Symmetry

We present a model of gravity based on spontaneous Lorentz symmetry breaking. We start from a model with spontaneously broken symmetries for a massless 2-tensor with a linear kinetic term and a nonderivative potential, which is shown to be equivalent to linearized general relativity, with the Nambu-Goldstone (NG) bosons playing the role of the gravitons. We apply a bootstrap procedure to the mo...

Planck-scale unification and dynamical symmetry breaking.

We explore the possibility of unification of gauge couplings near the Planck scale in models of extended technicolor. We observe that models of the form G×SU(3)c×SU(2)L×U(1)Y cannot be realized, due to the presence of massless neutral Goldstone bosons (axions) and light charged pseudo-Goldstone bosons; thus, unification of the known forces near the Planck scale cannot be achieved. The next simp...

Breaking Through the Speed Barrier — Advancements in High-Speed Imaging

History and the discoveries of the use of ultrasound can be traced back to late 18th century, but one of the major steps toward the practical use of ultrasound may be attributed to Lewis Nixon who invented the very first sonar type listening device in 1906 as a way of detecting icebergs [1]. Rapid developments of the use of ultrasound occurred since then, particularly after world war II; initia...
